Abstract
This study aims to analyze the efforts made by PAI teachers at SMAN 7 Merangin in creating teaching materials, learning environments, and effective teaching and learning systems. The type of research used is qualitative with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that PAI teachers at SMAN 7 Merangin are active in creating teaching materials that are relevant to the curriculum and students' needs, they also collaborate with other teachers to integrate Islamic religious values in various subjects. The teaching and learning system at SMAN 7 Merangin are based on an interactive and participatory approach. PAI teachers use various learning methods such as group discussions, presentations, and field practice to motivate students to be active in learning. This study shows that the efforts of PAI teachers at SMAN 7 Merangin in creating teaching materials, learning environments, and teaching and learning systems have positively contributed to Islamic religious learning and the development of student character at school.
