Abstract


This study aims to explore and study the process of facilitating learning and see improved performance in Islamic religious learning. The research method used is qualitative research that emphasizes providing arguments concluded from the arguments that occur during field research, then the results are also strengthened by data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the process of facilitating Islamic learning at SMAN 7 Merangin involving religious teachers has been carried out well, facilities are adequate ranging from learning places, classrooms where learning, learning equipment, and learning reference sources such as books to support Islamic religious learning and the existence of a mosque where Islamic learning practices. Then in terms of improving the learning performance of Islamic religious education found that To support the improvement of Islamic religious education learning performance, it has prepared learning in accordance with the RPP that has been made so that learning is more focused. By implementing an effective learning facilitating process and involving all stakeholders, Islamic Religious Education learning at SMA Negeri 7 Merangin can improve student performance. The results of this study are expected to provide a better understanding of strategies that are effective in facilitating Islamic Religious Education learning and can be adopted by other schools to improve religious learning at the senior secondary level.
