Abstract


This study aims to describe the way Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers design learning to improve performance in the PAI learning process. The method used in this study is a qualitative method to solve a problem in research by using several methods to collect data and information which then uses certain data analysis. The results of the study show that learning PAI at SMAN 4 Merangin has been carried out regularly and in accordance with the material in the lesson and is also supported by tools to facilitate the PAI learning process such as carrying out corpses using dolls to carry out the practice of bathing the corpse, shrouding and praying for the corpse. In addition, it is supported by Student Organizations, namely Rohis, who have routine religious activities.
